Jim lives alone in an orchard cabin by a creek, surrounded by beautiful mountains, forests and farms. He is grateful for the life that has been given him. He would like to meet a woman of special talents, qualities and love who shares his views on life, and who would like to share in the risks and rewards of his work.

Where did he come from? Jim was born in Japan. By the time he left "home", wherever his parents lived at any moment, he had seen quite a bit of Japan, Canada and the United States. He chose to settle in Canada. It was where he felt most free. It mattered less in Canada what you were or where you came from. This easy acceptance, and the wide open spaces, gave him the roots he needed to begin his own life.

Jim also came from a tradition of strict religious creed. As a teenager he began questioning the blatant irrationalities of this creed, and soon discarded it. In his quest for spiritual freedom over many years, he finally found what he was looking for. It was in Eckankar, religion of the Light and Sound of God. It was by far the best thing that ever happened to him in his whole life. And it keeps on getting far, far better than Jim ever imagined in his wildest dreams!
